LeJuan Strickland is the owner of Metropolitan Strategies and Solutions, LLC. LeJuan has over 15 years of experience in creating and assisting government agencies and organizations in improving processes through evaluation and proper data analysis. LeJuan works with clients across industries, primarily serving businesses and community organizations that conduct business with local and federal governments. He has consulted on large projects throughout the country with local government agencies and airport authorities, including St. Louis Lambert International Airport P3 exploration and DC Deputy Mayor for Planning and Development.

Prior to running Metropolitan Strategies and Solutions full-time, LeJuan held key senior roles inside of DC Government to include Chiefs of Staff at DC Department of Employment Services (DOES) and DC Department of Small and Local Business Development. While at DOES LeJuan was part of the first ever Paid Family Leave advisory team through the City Administrator’s office. In addition, LeJuan worked with DOES Director and the Executive Office of the Mayor to review the potential impact of Paid Family to the District economy. In addition, LeJuan oversaw the creation of the DCPFL department. While in his roles at DC Government, LeJuan executed the roll out of many DOES systems to include SYEP portal, UI Tax, and UI Benefits updates. LeJuan is also a military officer in the DC National Guard.
